Translation commentary on Leviticus 19:22

Compare 4.20 and 5.26.

His sin which he has committed: this phrase occurs twice in the text but may be translated once in the receptor language to avoid awkward repetition.

Shall be forgiven: this passive form may easily be rendered as an active, since God is clearly the subject.
