Verses 29-36 deal with the parts of the sacrifice which the lay persons are required to give to the priest when they make the fellowship offering: the parts which the priest must burn on the altar for God as well as that which constitutes the salary of the priests themselves. The wording of Revised Standard Version is repetitious and confusing and should be simplified in the receptor language.

His peace offerings … his offering: the first of these two terms is the usual word of this type of offering, translated “fellowship offering” in Good News Translation (see 3.1). The second is a technical term which literally means “that which is brought near,” but in this context it indicates that part of the fellowship offering which is presented as a special gift to the LORD. In many languages it would be redundant to repeat the possessive pronoun his in this case.

From the sacrifice of his peace offerings: this phrase at the end of verse 29 actually goes with verse 30. But since it is a repetition, it may be omitted in translation.
