The verse number is missing from Good News Translation.

Returned from the tent: Good News Translation‘s “left Judith’s rooftop shelter” reminds the reader that the tent is on Judith’s rooftop (verse 5).

Went to their posts: Good News Translation has “returned to their posts,” and Contemporary English Version “took their positions at the gate.” For posts see 7.32. Apparently these three town leaders were participating in sentry duty (see 7.5, 32).
