The Hebrew, Latin and Greek that is translated in English as “wild animal” or similar is translated in Newari as “animal that lives in the jungle.” (Source: Newari Back Translation)
Translation commentary on Letter of Jeremiah 1:68
This is the refrain again, this time rather differently worded. Literally it says “Therefore in no way is it clear to us that they [these idols] are gods, so do not fear them.” For fear see the comments on verse 4.
