If integrated into the book of Daniel: 14.20.
The king’s reply is simple, but the translator must be sure it is an appropriate response to what Daniel has just said in the previous verse. A question such as “Whose footprints are these?” calls for a response like “These are…” rather than “I see….” A statement like “Take note of whose footprints you see there” could be appropriately followed by “I see….”
