For it will last for about a week of years: The conjunction For may be omitted (so Good News Bible). The pronoun it refers to the time of judgment. A week of years means “seven years” (Good News Bible; compare Dan 9.24). Good News Bible provides a helpful model for this verse. Another possible one is:

• God will judge people for seven years.
