The first part of this verse is almost identical to 8.5.

You: the pronoun here is plural and refers to the Israelites in general. The actual command, however, is fulfilled by Aaron on behalf of the entire community (verse 7).

And the glory … will appear: the connection between doing what the LORD commanded and the appearance of his glory is not very clear in Revised Standard Version. The conjunction used may indicate a number of different relationships between the two actions, including mere coincidence. It will be better in most languages to use a stronger word or expression such as “in order that” or “so that” (see Good News Translation, New English Bible, New Jerusalem Bible, New International Version, New Jerusalem Bible). Translators may also consider “and as a result,” “and afterward,” or “and the glory of the LORD will then appear.”

The glory of the LORD: this expression is often used today with very little understanding of its meaning. The root meaning has to do with “weight” or “heaviness,” and by extension “importance” or “honor.” It is most frequently used to describe an external appearance of prosperity (Isa 61.6; Psa 49.16), as of an Eastern king demonstrating his greatness. The glory of the LORD then is the dazzling splendor that accompanies his appearance. In many accounts of his appearance, extremely bright light is said to be seen. New Jerusalem Bible speaks of “the Presence,” while Moffatt has “splendour” (compare Good News Translation “the dazzling light of his presence”).

Will appear: in a number of languages it may be more natural to formulate the entire last part of the verse differently. The verb will appear may be rendered by a form with another agent, so that the entire expression may be rendered “so that you will be able to see the glory of the LORD’s presence.” Some have proposed “so that the LORD may show his splendor … to you” or “in order that you may see the dazzling light of the LORD’s presence.”
