Levitical priests shall never lack a man: In Hebrew this has a similar structure to that of verse 17. Here again Good News Translation translates with a positive statement, “there will always be priests from the tribe of Levi.” For priests see 1.1.

Burnt offerings: See 6.20.

Cereal offerings: See 14.12. Good News Translation renders “grain offerings,” though there are some who feel that the word may simply mean “gifts.”

The context makes it clear, of course, that the sacrifices are offered to the LORD, but where that would not be clear, translators can say “sacrifices to me” or even “other sacrifices to me.”
