The Greek in Luke 23:2 that is translated as “for glory to your people Israel” or similar in English is translated in the German New Testament translation by Berger / Nord (publ. 1999) with Israel, dein Volk, hast du mit Herrrlichkeit gekrönt or “you have crowned Israel, your people, with glory.”
