Of a truth, God will not do wickedly repeats the same thought Elihu voiced in verse 10. Of a truth translates the same Hebrew expression used at the opening of 19.4, rendered “even if it be true” by Revised Standard Version. Here the expression may have the sense as in New English Bible, “the truth is,” or else “it certainly is true.” ʾEl occurs in line a and Shaddai in line b, as in lines b and c of verse 10.

And the Almighty will not pervert justice is almost a quotation from 8.3a. See there for discussion. Verse 12 may be rendered, for example, “Certainly God will not do wrong, and God Almighty will not be unjust” or “It is true that God never does evil, and he will always judge things in the right way.”
