Therefore write all these things that you have seen in a book, and put it in a hidden place: Put it in a hidden place may be translated “hide it somewhere” or even “keep it in a safe place” (Contemporary English Version).
And you shall teach them to the wise among your people, whose hearts you know are able to comprehend and keep these secrets: This sentence may be rendered “Teach these things [or, secrets] to those of your people whom you know are wise enough to understand and keep these secrets.”
