Exegesis:

eipen de tis autō ‘somebody said to him,’ without indication of place or time or occasion.

kurie ‘lord,’ cf. on 1.6.

ei oligoi hoi sōzomenoi ‘are those who are saved few?,’ with eisin understood. ei introduces here a direct question, but does not anticipate whether the answer will be in the affirmative or not. For sōzō cf. on 8.12.

ho de eipen pros autous ‘he said to them.’ autous is best understood as referring to all present, cf. on 12.15.

Translation:

Those who are saved, cf. the note on 8.12.

To them, or, in order to bring out the interpretation preferred in Exegesis, ‘to the people,’ ‘to those present.’
