The Greek in Hebrews 12:23 that is translated as “the assembly of the firstborn” or similar in English is translated in the German New Testament translation by Berger / Nord (publ. 1999) with die Kirche der Engel, der Erstgeborenen or “the church of the angels, the firstborn.”
