For: The word For here introduces the explanation for Mary’s future pregnancy and Elizabeth’s current pregnancy. Mary will be able to have a son without a husband because God can do anything. Elizabeth was able to conceive a son in her old age because God can do anything. Express this connection in a natural way in your language. In some languages the connection may be implied without a conjunction.
no word from God will ever fail: The Greek clause that the Berean Standard Bible translates as no word from God will ever fail is literally “nothing will be impossible with God” (as in the NET Bible). It refers to Mary’s future pregnancy, but it is also a general statement and includes Elizabeth’s pregnancy. So in some languages, it is more natural to use a present form here.
