Now then let us come to terms with these men: Come to terms is literally “give the right hand.” This whole clause is well rendered in Good News Bible with “So now let’s arrange a truce.”

And make peace with them and with all their nation may be translated “and make [or, sign] a peace treaty with these Jews and the rest of their nation.”
