This verse is similar in content to 17.25. Here it promises what will happen if the king obeys the command to uphold justice given in verse 3. In Die Bibel im heutigen Deutsch it begins, “Only with this stipulation will future kings, who sit on David’s throne, go in and out through the doors of this palace….”
