Jotham receives a positive evaluation in line with other kings of Israel and Judah beginning with David (1 Kgs 15.5) and including Asa (1 Kgs 15.11), Joash (2 Kgs 12.2), Amaziah (2 Kgs 14.3), and Uzziah (verse 3) who was the father of Jotham. See the comments on those verses.
